Hanging girl & Bat Wings....

This weekend was productive in the ink drawing area yet again....I started this print with a girl hanging from a rope and pulley being hoisted up by demons.....I came up with the sketch slowly starting with the girl hanging by her arm...then added the demons later....I think in my head its a visual metaphor to how our own demons haunt us and are constantly pulling at us, whether its our past demons, or our current ones...I struggle with both a lot in a myriad of ways....the feel is very art nouveau in feel of the old book plates and such...I am struggling with how to move on with either doing black washes or add actual color...although adding color doesn't seem appropriate? Maybe I will add minimal color in just certain spots? I dono...we shall see how it develops...
